This extremely tightly fought battle saw The Highlanders come out on top in a shootout over Sunnyvale Squirrels, who put up a great effort in the game. The Highlanders was able secure the win with a shootout goal, while Jeremy Miller was able to shut the door on the Sunnyvale Squirrels shooters to secure the win for The Highlanders. A strong performance by Mike Tuffin (2 G, 0 A) allowed The Highlanders to overcome the challenge and lead Tuffin's team to a victory.
