This extremely tightly fought battle saw Sunnyvale Squirrels come out on top in a shootout over Shockers, who put up a great effort in the game. Sunnyvale Squirrels was able secure the win with a shootout goal, while Logan Bissell was able to shut the door on the Shockers shooters to secure the win for Sunnyvale Squirrels. A strong performance by Travis Duncan (2 G, 0 A) allowed Sunnyvale Squirrels to overcome the challenge and lead Duncan's team to a victory.
