Ball Hockey International (BHi) is excited to be part of the Great Britain’s Heritage Ball Hockey team again who will be playing in this year’s World Ball Hockey Federation (WBHF) World 3 on 3 Championships.
This ball hockey event brings together nations from across the globe to compete in hopes of bringing home a gold medal. It will take place this June 2023 in the Hodonin-Czechia Republic.
In order to try out for future Team Great Britain teams, you must be able to show British heritage. Players must self-fund their participation in the tournament. BHi will help subsidize the registration costs for registered BHi players. Fundraising events and opportunities will take place leading up to the tournament to assist players with the cost.
Team GB General Manager, Chad Asselstine said, “This is an amazing opportunity for players with British heritage to participate in this international event. We’re confident that we can put together teams to represent Britain well, and compete with ball hockey’s elite nations.”
“We are pleased to be working with another leader in the sport’s growth. The WBHF’s global expansion requires experienced people to support and contribute to its development,” said Domenic Di Gironimo of the World Ball Hockey Federation.
